IN EUROPE, THE MOON SPEAKS ITALIAN, BY CHOICE.
in Europe Moon speaks Italian whispers romantic ciao's dresses in Armani suits Amaretta overcoats, illuminates vias and piazza's but not majestic balconies where modern Romeos and Juliets find solace in soft shadows and follow inspiration deep into long Italian nights... till apologies from new dawn for arriving so soon and forgiveness from disappearing Moon play out there mingling till sun finds high noon bodies and spirits struggle through days never losing sight that Moon speaks Italian by choice deep into nights...
FLYING INTO ITALY
clouds lower than snow capped mountains contrast lush ruddy earth narrow passageways carved into gullies lakes appear with unscheduled beauty reflect big moving sun mirror till emptied into rivers snaking thru patchwork quilt fields quardroned off in natural progression with lay of land, villages turn into towns rows of vegetables line up for harvest plane turns, banks, parallels highways count tiled roofs, individual trees, leaves and vines make their mark as we become tree top high then lower, bouncing rubber tires on asphalt runway exhilaration in my body blood flows Italian again...
